Angel City Advisors was founded in Los Angeles, a megacity full of innovation and enterprise. It also has its share of challenges especially around wealth inequality and the social challenges that it perpetuates. While our work is national and international, we remain committed to the Los Angeles ecosystem where social innovation can be curated and scaled to address big problems. We consider ourselves as part of that ecosystem.
As part of our contribution to the Greater Los Angeles Social Innovation Ecosystem, Angel City provides a directory of local social enterprises, innovators, facilitators, and funders. We have no agenda here beyond the free flow of information and improved connectivity within the region. We will periodically update and scrub the sortable database below.
Organizations that you might find here include:
· Organizations that self-identify and operate as social enterprises
· Nonprofit organizations with a market-oriented model to social change
· Organizations that have been acknowledged by social innovation leaders
· Organizations that have spun out of local social enterprise programs or accelerators
